ADONIA is named after the ancient Greek Adonia festival — a tradition where women planted fast-blooming, fast-fading gardens in mourning for Adonis, a meditation on how quickly beauty fades. ADONIA Studios exists to gently reverse that idea: instead of letting a meaningful bouquet fade and disappear, we press and set it so it lasts. The name is a nod to beauty's brevity — and a promise that yours doesn't have to end that way.

Traditional pressing flattens flowers completely flat between pages. Our process presses and sets each bloom while preserving more of its natural shape, depth, and dimension, so the finished piece reads less like a flat botanical print and more like the bouquet itself, framed. We use special drying techniques to preserve both the color and unique shape of the original living blooms.

ADONIA Studios is a floral preservation studio in Hull, Massachusetts, on the South Shore. We preserve wedding bouquets for brides across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire, with next-day pickup on the South Shore and around Boston, pickup in some other areas, and direct handoff through our florist partners.

Wedding bouquet preservation at ADONIA Studios starts at $325 (Small), with Signature ($525), Grand ($850) and Heirloom ($1,200) sizes. Bridal party keepsakes are $55 each and pieces for parents and grandparents are $100 each. A 25% deposit holds your date.

Before the wedding. Your flowers need to reach the studio within a day or two, so we set the pickup plan and name your bouquet steward in your contract ahead of time. Many brides book when they finalize their floral design, about 3 to 6 months out, and newly engaged brides are welcome to reach out early.

Yes. Special event and memorial pieces start at $145, so a courthouse wedding bouquet, elopement flowers or flowers from a celebration of life can all become framed pressed floral art.
